Clare Beasley

MBACP (Accred), Dip Couns (Director and Service Manager)

Since qualifying as a Counsellor, Clare gained experience, working with adults, children and adolescence within schools and private setting. Clare has continued her studies, completing courses in Children and Adolescence, NLP, Psychology, Eating Disorders and Clinical Supervision.

Since Clare created CK, she has reduced her Private Practice, where she specialised in working with neurodiversity through insurance companies, EAPs, Private clients, whilst working with a variety of supervisees, growing their confidence and practice. Clare works full-time at CK, to continuously develop the services and training provided. 

Jenny Nicholson

MBACP Counsellor and Tutor, (Course Tutor)

Jenny runs a successful private practice from her hometown in South East Essex, providing therapeutic support to individuals across the UK. With a strong foundation in person-centred counselling, she works with clients facing a wide range of emotional, behavioural and psychological challenges. Previously, Jenny worked as a school counsellor in a secondary school, supporting young people through critical stages in their development. Her professional background also includes many years in healthcare and support roles where she gained extensive experience in neurodiversity, health and learning disabilities and end-of-life care. Jenny has a very warm, friendly, and inclusive approach to teaching and is deeply passionate about supporting growth and personal development.

Jayne Booth

BSc (Hons) MA in UDVSA, MBACP (Course Tutor)

Jayne is a qualified and practicing Psychotherapist having passed a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling through Middlesex University. She began a private practice in Norwich specialising in working with clients who have Autism, moving on to work with victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. She gained accreditation with the UKCP on graduating from Middlesex University having completed over four hundred and fifty hours in placement with Norwich Mind and Off the Record. Jayne achieved an MA in Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse passing with distinction at Goldsmith’s University. This further informed her practice. Currently registered with the BACP, she is part of the media team and has written for many newspapers and magazines and been interviewed for radio and television. She has spoken at several conferences supporting domestic violence charities. Jayne was the first Autism facilitator in the UK at an Employment Tribunal. She has provided training courses for several mental health charities and other counsellors. Currently Jayne is undertaking a D(Prof) in Psychological Trauma with Chester University

Gillian Clark

MBACP (Accred), Dip Couns, CYP Counsellor, EMDR Practitioner, Supervisor. PGCE (Course Tutor)

As a dedicated counsellor and CYP counsellor, I have amassed 9 years of experience in trauma counselling, specialising as an EMDR practitioner and supervisor. My professional journey includes working with survivors from 3 years of age, providing them with the support and guidance they need to heal and thrive. Additionally, I have been a PGCE Lecturer, teaching at a college and sharing my knowledge and expertise with aspiring counsellors. My teaching experience includes developing and delivering comprehensive courses, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community through research and collaboration. Before retraining as a counsellor, I was a licensee, which has enriched my understanding of diverse professional environments and client needs.

Victoria Oliver

MBACP, Bsc (hons)

Victoria is a qualified and practising psychotherapist having passed a BSc (hons) in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. Since qualifying Victoria has gained experience working with young people and adults, working within a variety of voluntary community settings and schools across Lincolnshire. At present Victoria runs their own private practice working with a wide range of presenting issues and is keen to offer support in an emphatic and creative way giving space and time to explore feelings and thoughts.

Lisa Hogan

Head of HR and Administration

Lisa is a compassionate and dedicated part of the CK team with a strong background in HR, management, finance and education. A qualified teacher, Mental Health First Aider, and Designated Safeguarding Officer, she is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments where both staff and learners can thrive. She has a particular interest in promoting understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity across training courses and the workplace.

Headhunted to help a family open their own pre-school, Lisa successfully led the project from the ground up, achieving an Ofsted “Good” rating within its first year. Her career also includes experience in banking and as an executive assistant, where she was recognised for her professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

As Chair of an Air Scouts group, Lisa oversees governance, compliance, and operations, working closely with the community to ensure a safe, supportive, and inspiring space for young people to grow and achieve.

Rebecca Flintham

Since qualifying as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Becka has worked in private practice online and face-to-face in Rye, East Sussex. She has also worked in agency settings, including MIND, Yellow Door, Breast Cancer Now and Creative Options in Southampton. She is an experienced facilitator and trainer.

Becka holds an L7 adv. Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and an L4 CPCAB Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling. She is a registered member of BACP and is in the process of accreditation with UKCP.

Becka has facilitated groups and workshops for many years in areas including weekly mental health support groups for Wiltshire Mind and Mental Health Awareness Training for Dorset Mind, as well as facilitating therapeutic support groups for women with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. Most recently, she has worked as a group tutor for counselling students and, before retraining as a therapist, facilitated experiential training in the corporate sector focused on presentation skills and difficult and courageous conversations.

Becka lives by the sea in Rye and mostly spends her free time adoring her beautiful Bedlington Whippet, Olive… (and her family!)

Eljin Keeling-Johnson

Eljin Keeling-Johnson first qualified in counselling in 2010, after beginning his career in the wellbeing sector in 2006. He honed his skills in a drug and rehabilitation unit, where he worked for seven years before going on to manage the therapy team. Driven by a passion for personal transformation, Eljin went on to found Connection Wellbeing Services, a company dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional healing and growth. He later expanded his practice into coaching, NLP, and breathwork, working with both private clients and businesses, delivering workshops, and creating his own signature personal development programmes. With over 16,000 hours of practice, Eljin has established himself as a highly regarded practitioner in the North Midlands, building a trusted reputation and a strong client following. His expertise has also earned him recognition as an exclusive contributor for Brainz Magazine.

Kim Hamilton

MBACP – Counsellor and Tutor

Kim has worked and studied in the field of health and social care for over fourteen years. During this time, she has gained extensive experience in leading mental health services across Northern Ireland.

Kim has supported a wide range of clients with diverse backgrounds and presenting issues, primarily working with adults aged 18+ and older age groups.

As a Qualified counsellor, Kim has developed a range of experience, including working with suicide prevention, supporting individuals experiencing crisis, trauma, and emotional distress. Before this, she had volunteered as a befriender, helping clients reduce isolation and build confidence.

Kim is passionate about working within the BACP Ethical Framework and is committed to ongoing professional development.

In her downtime, she enjoys reading, writing, and long walks—activities that support her own wellbeing and balance.

Amber Goss

BA Hons, MBACP Counsellor and Tutor

Amber has developed a successful private practice in Norfolk after receiving a BA(Hons) in Person Centred Counselling through the University of Suffolk. Her counselling work started within the charity sector, specialising in supporting those who have experienced pregnancy and baby loss, pregnancy choices and birth trauma.

Amber then progressed her career as a Team Lead whilst training as an EFT Practitioner, which she incorporates into her practice. Amber's experience includes counselling students in an education setting alongside her practice, where she works with a range of presenting issues using an integrative and creative approach.

Dawn French

MBACP (Accred), CIPD, PGCE / Tutor

Dawn has 23 years of counselling experience in private practice, local government and the charity sector. She remains in private practice as a BACP Accredited counsellor working with couples, adults, children and young people. As a clinical supervisor, she supports trainees and qualified counsellors. Within the education sector, Dawn has taught level 2 to level 6 on both college and university courses in counselling, neurodiversity, human resources and teacher training.

In her previous role as a Head of Department, she took responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning with particular focus on supporting adult learner success. Designing and delivering corporate training, she worked internationally to train teams in softer skill development, effective communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and personal and professional development.

Darcie Faupel

BA Hons, MBACP Counsellor and Tutor

Darcie is a Counselling Ba (hons) graduate and member of the BACP. She currently works in private practice as a person-centred counsellor based online from her home in Essex. Darcie has had previous experience working within a primary and secondary school with pupils aged 4 to 18, teachers and parents.

This has provided Darcie with a wealth of knowledge in understanding the world from a variety of different lenses. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and abuse. Additionally, Darcie has completed training as a designated safeguarding lead in education which underpins her commitment to safe, ethical and compassionate practice.

Ian Wilson

MBACP, Therapeutic Counsellor, Mentor & Tutor

Ian is a person-centred therapeutic counsellor, mentor and educator with over 25 years’ experience supporting individuals and teams across education, community and professional settings. After a long career in leadership and mentoring roles, he retrained as a counsellor to focus on work that aligns with his values of service, growth and human connection.

Alongside his teaching, Ian maintains an active private practice, working with clients experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life transitions. His approach integrates person-centred therapy with his background in mentoring and empowerment, creating a compassionate, non-judgemental space where people feel safe to explore change. He also brings a strong understanding of neurodiversity and the impact it can have on individuals and families.

Ian is passionate about developing the next generation of counsellors and brings real-world clinical experience, empathy and reflective practice into the classroom to support students’ confidence, skills and professional growth.

Philip Bracey

MBACP Counsellor and Course Tutor

Philip Bracey is a Fellow of the International Society of Professional Counsellors and a Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. Philip holds an Honours Degree in Counselling Studies and Diplomas in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Hypnotherapy and a Certificate in Social Sciences.

Philip Bracey started his counselling career in 2007 and later formed Red Tree Counselling in October 2010. Red Tree Counselling started providing mental health services including psychotherapy, counselling, CBT and Coaching and all services were made available throughout East Lindsey, N.E Lincolnshire and throughout the Lincolnshire Wolds and surrounding areas.

Red Tree Therapies was formed at the start of 2018 to become the fulcrum for Red Tree Counselling (for all counselling, Hypnotherapy, CBT & Psychotherapy) and Red Tree Training (Teaching & Training in counselling & psychotherapy including workshops & CPD training).

Philip has a wealth of experience of working with a diverse range of clients including the elderly, children and young people and adults. Experience includes working with Adult and Child Trauma, Combat Stress and Trauma, Complex PTSD, Eating Disorders and Anxiety. Philip also has extensive experience of working with Grief and Loss and mental health conditions such as Cyclothymia, Bi-Polar Disorder and Anxiety Disorders.
