I am a qualified Counselling Lecturer with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PCET) from Staffordshire University. My teaching experience includes delivering NCFE CACHE Level 2 and 4 Diplomas in Counselling, as well as CPCAB Level 2, 3 and 4 also Aims Level 4 Diploma in counselling qualifications.
Currently, I provide high-level one-to-one specialist support for students diagnosed with mental health conditions and a range of neurodiverse spectrum disorders across several universities, including the University of Salford, the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, Aston University, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Wolverhampton.
My practice is grounded in an integrative approach, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, and Psychodynamic principles. I am passionate about fostering inclusive, empowering learning environments that support both academic and personal growth. I bring an initiative-taking, adaptable, and collaborative approach to all aspects of my work, guided by a strong commitment to the BACP Ethical Framework and professional standards.
