Jenny Nicholson

MBACP Counsellor and Tutor

Jenny has always navigated towards roles which involved caring and helping others. Jenny first began working in residential homes caring for the elderly with dementia, physical disabilities and end of life care. Then later moved to and became assistant manager of a company which supported young adults living with neurodiversity and various health conditions such as Cerebral palsy and Epilepsy. After having children Jenny studied hairdressing and began working part-time as a mobile hairdresser specializing in services for the elderly, disabled and terminally ill. Jenny decided to study counselling comes from a life long interest in human psychology and a desire to help others.

Jenny passed her Advanced Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2022 and began working in a secondary school counselling children aged 11-18. Some mild health issues led her to take a pause from working in the school, but this gave her the opportunity to take a new direction with teaching.
