Regulated Qualifications and Progression Route

Like us at CK, CPCAB is dedicated to providing you with the best Counselling qualifications. We do this by continually reviewing the latest research into effective Counselling, guaranteeing that our qualifications are up-to-date and relevant.

The CPCAB Regulated Qualifications are detailed within the CPCAB Progression route, and all qualifications are underpinned by The CPCAB Model of helping work and counselling practice. It sets out the essential elements of practice that are common to all counselling approaches this consists of three parts: Part 1- Three levels of client problems, Part 2- Three dimensions of client problems, and Part 3- Seven helping and counselling process. Non-Regulated Qualifications and Tailor-Made Qualifications

As part of the continued reviewing of the latest research, we are also providing non-regulated CPCAB qualifications such as the Level 5 Award in Online and Phone Counselling Practice (OPCP-L5) and Life Coaching Level 4.

Non-Regulated and Tailor-Made Qualifications are still underpinned by The CPCAB Model of helping work and counselling practice.

We have plans to run a Level 5 Trauma course in the near future, this will be face-to-face in Kings Lynn, get in touch to express your interest.

The Level 4 Life Coaching Diploma, is designed to equip you to work as a qualified Life Coach, either as a self-employed life coach in independent practice or to seek employment as a life coach in a range of related sectors such as health and social care, advice and advocacy, mentoring and public services.

Placements

If you are a trainee counsellor looking for a volunteering counselling placement to gain your qualifying hours or more experience, get in contact and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

We run an online counselling service, with counselling taking place via Zoom or Telephone. All clients are assessed before counselling begins, this is to ensure you are working within your limits of proficiency.

In return, we offer:

Support: Ongoing support throughout your journey to becoming a qualified counsellor.

Training: Offering training and development, ensuring you reach your own professional goals.

Experience: Experience with working with Adults with a range of different presenting issues.

Supervision: To make it easier for you when we offer you a placement, we also ask you to join our in-house monthly group supervision for our volunteers at £20 per session. We also offer one-to-one supervision
