What’s included in our Psychological Trauma Therapy Level 5?
As part of this course, you will need to be working with clients, as many of your clients may have experienced psychological trauma. We will explore different approaches to trauma, including the medical model and the British Psychological Society's ‘Power Threat Meaning Framework’. You will develop an understanding of how to form an integrative framework to support yourself and your clients. This course combines theory with real-world application to build confidence, competence, and compassionate practice.
Why choose us?
This course provides opportunities to review case studies as an individual and as a group, allowing learners to respect and understand others' perspectives. Within this course, a variety of subjects incorporate theoretical and practical experiences. Please be aware that due to the nature of this course, self-awareness and support networks might be required. Training will include lessons on trauma-informed practice, group discussions, case studies, and skills practice.
